Just another day...

Well we have taken over Methodist hospital! Thanks to all the visitors today. Brian is on his 3rd bag of chemo. I think he was more chipper then me today (I think it is all the drugs). He is responding well to the chemo, no side effects yet!

He is so excited because the cubbies have won 3 in a row now. He says it is all because of him, I think it is the $10 Million dollar pitcher in the bullpen.

We ask for more prayers and support for our FAMILY!

Brian, "We are going to be OK!"

Love you all and thanks again for everything!

Stacey

  5. Brian and Stacy! I met both of you through Pam. We got to know you guys and your parents on a personal level while eating at one of our local haunts: Hacienda. We talked about alot of things, mainly the Hawkeyes and Raggae music. To my surprise, Brian and I had similar tastes as far as that goes. We both look forward to doing that again. Positive vibes all around. Alot of people are in your corner guys. The best to you guys. Stay strong. -CraigR

  6. Brian & Stacy,
We graduated with your Aunt Rose and know both of your parents from school. Just want you to know that we are keeping you both and your parents in our prayers. I had surgery at Mayo to remove my left lung in October and just finished 4 months of chemo. I will be starting 6 weeks of radiation in the near future. It sounds like you have a great attitude! Keep it! A positive attitude is essential for healing and recovery. I found that knowing so many people were supporting, encouraging, and praying for me made my fight so much easier. I could feel their power! Stay strong and God bless you in your fight!

  7. I went to see Brian the other day, and there he was in the "Daddy" chair w/the Hawkeye house shoes. It really made my day to see him in such great spirits. I talk to Brian at work at least once a day. No need to stop that daily convo. Stay Strong Brother
